Today we are paying our tributes to Schulyer Wheeler who invented the electric fan, a principal method of home cooling until Willis Haviland Carrier invented air conditioning. Man, these guys are my best buds. This makes me wonder what it was like before some of these things were invented. I know, I know, it would be hot, man you guys are genius'. I think that I will become the opposite breed to the bears I will lock myself up in the house from June until November, a brand new way of hibernating.
So let me know out there do you like the hot weather or cold weather better?

THAT'S why it took you so long to post...you were looking up who invented the fan and AC! You're ca-razy. Hey, I like warm weather best...who wants to choose between cold or hot? I'd rather ride the fence with warm. 70s, sunshiny, cool breeze. Yep.
That's a no brainer . . . cold.
Only thing is there is no such thing as "cold" . . . there is only "hot". You can heat something up, but the only way to cool something off is to remove the heat. You can't just cold something. On the other hand if you are cold you can always warm up - fire, more clothes, get in the microwave, etc. If you're cold, put on a sweater - I'm hot.
COLD...FOR SURE!!! I can't stand being hot! I love to get all bundled up to get warm...much better than taking off as much clothing as you modestly can and still sweating!
I love summer... WITH a/c. (how many times do you think I said "It's SO hot in here!" the other night? ;) I hate winter for the most part... I like to be able to play outside and I don't like to be in the cold and rain. :P Summer is my favorite time of the year, as long as I can go in and cool off!

i'm with your dad. balmy's the way to go. mid-spring, early fall. the absolute best times. no sweat, no shiver. but if i forced to decide i'd go with hot everytime!
Definitely cold weather...rainy and windy...my favorite.
ok, all these people saying cold and rainy - they obviously 1) don't have children under the age of 5 2) need to come transport my family or live with them stuck in the house in the cold rain next winter!!!

I'm with ya Suzanne! That is why I love summer, it's always warm enough to go out and play and you're almost never stuck inside due to rain!

Right now the air conditioner is blowing, the temp's down to 70, and the coffee is on! Gotta love a Seattlite in the mix...give me cold weather any day!
