Were there flowers? I feel like I have missed so much. What has happened to our watches? I think they have sped up. I can't tell you how busy I have been in the past three weeks. I seem to have allowed myself to overload my schedule. The funny thing is when I do this, hardly ever do I feel like I have accomplished something. I just feel like I am running in circles. I think that if things sped up anymore I would over lap myself and in passing I would smile and wave. So my encouragement for the day is not to slow down but to take the ten things that are on our lists and narrow it down to the best five. We will then see that things are slowing down. I do think that it is important to not be in a hurry. Just a thought for the day...Was Jesus ever in a hurry?

hmm... good stuff. i've always said, and it's vitally important with little one, you can't hurry and love at the same time. it never fails when i'm in a huge hurry i end up yelling at the kids. there's something there. and your questions gets me thinking about Him. i think i will look up some verses and dwell on them... just thinking about Jesus and his time he spent with people gives me peace.
Hey Tay,
You wrote this post way too early in the morning.
Also, I constantly find myself doing too many things, and not focusing enough on a few things. In the past few days, God has put many things in my life similar to your post. I guess I need to delegate better, and order my priorities.
I never have gotten the feeling reading the Bible that anyone in Bible days was in a hurry to be honest! lol Life has sped up a great deal for us in this day and age with all of our technology that supposedly saves time and makes things easier. We don't know how to wait for ANYTHING... internet speed is never fast enough, the car in front of us never drives fast enough, a meal is never ready fast enough, and God isn't letting me get pg fast enough. ;) Rush rush RUSH!
This will be short, because I am in a hurry. I think we often hurry in the wrong direction and then go really slow in the right direction. Lets pray real quick and then I'll go. Jesus, help us. Amen.
Sounds like you need a day where you stay in bed and let LeeAnne wait on you hand and foot. If you figure out how to accomplish that please let me know so I can try it out with Doug...lol
Shtop and posht on the blog, shucka. ;)
Were there blog posts? I feel like I have missed so many. What has happened to your blog? I think it has slowed to a halt. I can't tell you how busy I have been in the past three weeks (and I still blogged). I seem to have allowed myself to overload my schedule...with clicking on Curly Thoughts to no avail. The funny thing is when I do this, hardly ever do I feel like I have accomplished something (still the same, still the same, etc).
You get the idea.
